The show season comes round all took quickly, and I'll be getting along to as many as I can… or as many as the wife let's me!
One of the newer ones, The British Carp and Angling Show, burst onto the scene at the Norfolk Showground, having it's inaugural show at the beginning of this year, and it returns in a couple of months on the 19th & 20th January 2013.
Attracting over 10,000 visitors in that first event, promotors are hoping to double that attendance with a target figure of 20,000+… these guys aren't just trying to make this the best show in the UK, but in Europe!
Taking place at the Royal Norfolk Showground, the site has a footprint of 50,000 sq ft, which will be crammed with tackle, bait, clothing, accessories, demonstrations, and celebrities.
As well as new product launches from some top tackle firms, there's also plenty of well known experts to give talks, answer your questions, and generally pass on advice. With 'stars' such as Matt Hayes, who'll be unveiling a new clothing range, John Wilson, who'll be giving a talk and signing his books, and Rob Maylin, who has a new book out which he'll launch at the show.
There's a pretty impressive list of exhibitors, so you should be able to find plenty to look at, and here are some of them:
